I honestly don’t even feel like words can fully capture how incredible Doncaster Funerals were—but especially Mel.From the very first phone call, she was calm, compassionate, incredibly organised, and completely on it.We had spoken to a few other funeral directors, but Doncaster Funerals were on a completely different level.The care, attention to detail, and thoughtfulness throughout the entire process were beyond anything we could have hoped for.They made what is an incredibly difficult time feel smooth, supported, and even beautiful in its own way.It didn’t feel like we were just organising a funeral—it felt like we were giving our mum the most special send-off she deserved.Mel was always there at the end of the phone, no matter what we needed. Nothing was too much trouble.The team prepared our mum for viewing with such care and love—it truly felt like they brought her back to how we remembered her.The little details meant everything: her favourite nail polish on her fingers and toes, her lipstick, the option of a fingerprint and a lock of hair. Those touches will stay with us forever.The celebrant they recommended, Julianne, was also exceptional. She took the time to sit with us, listen deeply, and really understand who our mum was, which made the service feel so personal and meaningful.On the day itself, Sym and his team of pallbearers at the crematorium handled everything so seamlessly that we didn’t have to think about a single detail.We were able to be fully present, without stress or worry, which is such a gift at a time like that.I truly cannot recommend Doncaster Funerals highly enough.Their care, compassion, and attention to detail are simply phenomenal.They go above and beyond in every possible way. Losing my Dad is one of the hardest things I have ever gone through, he was my hero! After 5 harrowing weeks of being in hospital and care he passed away. Doncaster funerals stepped up and from the moment they collected my dad they were amazing, even letting us know once they had arrived with him back there. Mel was in constant contact with me, guiding me and helping me sort everything out.The level of compassion and care was incredible, everything so personal and supportive. Mel went out of her way to make it possible for us to visit Dad in the chapel of rest and to accommodate us with all our requests. From start to finish they made everything so much easier, and took the stress away from the whole ordeal. Even down to the colour of tie they wear at the funeral everything is so personal! I can’t put into words how perfect the funeral was, and the celebrant Becca was phenomenal, the service was beautiful, the way she spoke about my dad was as if she had known him (from listening to our stories) and described everything about him perfectly, she was wonderful!I can’t praise them highly enough, they are brilliant!If you want a personal touch and a caring, supportive company to take care of your late loved one, look no further, Doncaster Funerals will look after you all!Thank you to all at Doncaster Funerals we will never forget how wonderful and caring you all were! Seven weeks ago, my world was turned upside down when my husband passed away suddenly in Preston. After the sad passing of my brother, I asked around about funeral directors in the area of Doncaster and alot of people I asked mentioned Doncaster funerals in the centre of the town, and so I searched them and decided they were the best ones to go with and so I asked them if they could help me plan my brother's cremation, I felt it was important to be open and honest with my situation regarding finance and the worry that my brother was so far away and I needed help not knowing what to do now. From the moment I spoke to them I knew I had made the right choice, the staff was compassionate and understanding, helpful and just a wonderful bunch of people and I immediately knew they would take care of my brother and help me going forward. They took the time to listen to my needs and helped me navigate through the difficult process.They explained everything clearly, from the options available, to the prices, which made it a bit easier to make decisions during such a tough time. They offered a range of choices for memorial services and helped me throughout, I have to say I called them alot and they were always happy to talk, which meant a lot to me.Overall, I appreciated their support and patience throughout the whole process. They were respectful and took care of all the details, allowing me to focus on my brother's memory. I’m grateful for their help during such a challenging time.I would recommend them 100%. as they were absolutely amazing. Our family used doncaster funerals for our beloved mother's funeral from the moment we walked in we knew this was the place as we had visited a few well named directors the friendliness and help that was given at such a hard time was welcomed and they could not do enough for our mother and our personal requests they took great care of mam and she looked fantastic I was even able to go and paint her nails myself.symeon, Mel and beka made sure our mother had the send off she deserved and beta's tribute to mam was just perfect it had us I floods of tears and laughter the team and beka wore autumnal colours as they were mother's favourite and the flowers from there florist were out of this world so I can only say thank you so much and our family would not use anywhere else

Brilliant funeral directors, I really don't have the words for how thankful I am for Mel who felt more like family than someone doing their job. Doncaster Funerals are Amazing! From the second you walk in the door you are made to feel at ease, Mel is very attentive to what you are looking for even if you do not have all of the answers at the time, they are so patient and nothing is too much trouble, especially when they collected our Dad from the hospital they made it possible for us to visit him in the chapel before we headed home (thank you Sym)We had a intimate service in their own chapel on site and we had been in regular contact with Mel and she is amazing, she produced the most amazing video tribute to music and sent us a digital fingerprint for our memories, nothing is too much trouble we found some extra photos last minute and Mel made sure she added them in to the video for us.Mel also put us in contact with Beka to conduct the service. Highly Recommend as she was incredible.The day of the service which was a difficult day to say the least Mel and the Team were amazing.Thank you so much Mel and Sym for everything you made the day one we will always remember.Highly recommend! Myself and the family could not praise Mel and the team at Doncaster Funerals enough. From the moment you walk into their office you are made to feel at ease, everything is explained simply with no pressure on you to make your decision there and then. By the end of your time in their office Mel feels more like a friend of the family than a salesperson.You have a range of services which are priced very reasonable, when it comes to the type of service we chose a cremation, we wanted bright and cheerful, Mel advised us on a new crematorium Memoria near Barnby Dun. We visited them and it was exactly what we wanted. Once we had booked the service nothing was too much trouble, I had an issue with a picture montage and music, Mel took it over and completely knocked it out of the park, the celebrant they chose was fantastic Beka and again we could not thank her enough. On the day of the service Mel and her team were there on time and there was no rushing to get you there, everything was at your pace, after the service Mel and her team were very respectful and didn't try to move you on but gave you enough time to talk with everyone in attendance.On a day which is hard enough for you and your family, Mel and the team at Doncaster Funerals were amazing, so thank you to you all for making the day so rememberableChris x

I chose Doncaster Funerals because my mam wanted a small intimate send off. I am so glad I did. Her understanding of how hard it was for me was amazing. Mel and a gentleman were the ones who collected my mam after her passing. They were so respectful and kind. Becka was the lady who performed the service. She spoke to me to receive information on my lovely mam. Becks was fantastic. The funeral was everything mam wanted and I could not have wished for more wonderful people to perform it. I am so grateful to all of them for their help and support

When you lose a loved one its hard to know what needs doing and when.Our first step was to contact Doncaster Funerals & from there everything fell into place both compassionately and professionally.The whole Team were absolutely fantastic their help & support made everything flow efficiently & smoothly, from choosing the coffin, to the music, the prayers etc.Nothing was too much trouble, the time they spent making sure everything was right and we were happy with our choices.They even helped with the florist & caterers making everything fall into place and taking the pressure & worry off the whole family.They are not just a funeral home they are so much more.We really can't thank them enough for everything they did for the all of us.Thank you from the family of the late Cyril Turner.

I can highly recommend Doncaster Funerals, I recently arranged my dad's funeral, something no one wants to deal with, thank goodness for Mel and the team, they handled us with care, compassion and professionalism, even when we changed dates and times several times, nothing was too much trouble. The most loving funeral directors I've ever been too! .. they held the upmost respect for our mum and her sudden passing! We as a family are very very greatful we found this place! .. I know it's not something that you genuinely want to visit as it's a sad time for anyone! But they make you feel like your not alone! And these guys as a team work beautifully well! From the initial phone call late in the evening , following the sudden death of our lovely Dad the team at Doncaster Funerals stepped in and worked to make such a distressing time so much easier. Nothing was too much trouble and messages and phone calls were dealt with swiftly and we were guided through all the way throughto the service by Bekka the celebrant and beyond. We had the very sad experience of dealing with another family death very soon after another, and we were dreading having to go through the whole process of arranging funerals again after such a short space of time. However, Sym and Mel yet again were amazing. They knew our circumstances from the most recent bereavement and went above and beyond to provide us with a bespoke service that was fitting for our cherished family member. We were the first to use their chapel of rest for the funeral service. It was perfect for what we needed and wanted for our loved one. The premises are lovely and our celebrant Beka was wonderful. She fully grasped who we were and who our loved one was. It was not an easy eulogy to write but she made it perfect in every way.I couldn’t recommend Doncaster funerals enough. They are compassionate and a delight to have on your side at such a hard time as grief and bereavement. Thank you Sym, Mel and Beka, you truly were amazing.
